I want to share with you all why I love Shopify so much. If you have followed my journey as a Dev or worked on a project with me, then you would have for sure heard me mention Shopify. We are not being paid to boast about the platform and we will never use ad's on this site. I am pleased to share with you all that we are an official Shopify Partner! This just means that we have a ton of knowledge on the platform and are trusted to build out the best possible stores for our clients.
Let me give you a super brief summary of what Shopify is if you are new to the eCommerce game.
Why Shopify?
Shopify is dedicated to streamlining the ecommerce experience for both merchants and their customers, by offering a robust and easy-to-use platform that is constantly evolving to stay at the forefront of an ever-changing industry.
A home for your companies brand, Shopify is completely agnostic to design and front end technology. Meaning it is designed with endless customization, powerful analytics, and much for already built in. This makes it super easy for both, me, the dev, and you the business owner. Seriously, the tools that this platform provide are game changing. If you've ever been to a beautiful ecommerce site with a pleasant user experience and easy checkout process then chances are it was built with Shopify. I love being able to simply hand off a store I built for my client with minimal training and support debt. Every client I've suggested Shopify has loved the end result.
Sell Anywhere
Shopify offers more sales channels, payment. gateways, and integration products than any other ecommerce provider out currently. This offers clients a unified platform to sell anywhere the customer are. Amazon, Pintrest, FB Messenger just to name a few. Check out the full list of channels you can sell on here.
Enhanced Shopify Apps
A robust library of over 1,500 apps allows merchants to build their businesses the way they want them to perform. Think of anything that benefits you like:
- Storefront functionality such as product reviews, pop-ups, customer chat, and more.
- The Power of the Shopify's admin is phenomenal. Enhanced reporting, shipping options, inventory management and more.
- Integrates seamlessly with third-party business software, like MailChimp, Quickbooks, Zero, and more.
As I mentioned, I love using Shopify as my number 1 for ecommerce stores. They are fun to build, fun to hand off to my clients and easy for businesses to thrive. Customers are the most important part for business and making things easy for them creates trust and loyalty. If i go to a site that's super slow and not user friendly, I might never come back and neither do most customers.
